Sugar cookies for Easter

For Easter, my in-laws came to visit, and they brought one of the things I asked the Easter  bunny for this year: decorated sugar cookies.  The cross was the cookie theme for Easter this year, but you can usually get these cookies in almost any shape or size with almost any type of decoration.  In the past, I’ve had geometrically-shaped cookies as well as animal-shaped cookies with various edible decorations.  This batch of cookies was decorated with royal icing and glitter.

Where did my in-laws procure such a cookie, you ask?  Sugaree’s Bakery in New Albany, Mississippi, of course. :)

About Noel

I'm a lifelong learner, and I love to help people learn. My most-favorite hobbies are cooking, exercising, and woodworking, and I'll enthusiastically discuss these activities with everyone. My least-favorite hobbies are housework and yard work, and I'll unenthusiastically discuss those activities with no one. :) A little-known fact about me is that I enjoy Mondays...especially when I get two or more each week. A lot of people tell me that I have a dry sense of humor, and they can't tell whether I'm kidding or not.
