When I need Greek food, Costa’s is the first place I think of and baked leg of lamb is the dish on my mind. The leg of lamb lunch is $10.99, and the dinner is $14.95, and the side is Greek potatoes, rice pilaf, or Greek pasta along with tossed salad and garlic bread. At Costa’s, I like to do the carryout, and since I live a little over 20 minutes from the restaurant, I like to call ahead to make sure they’ve got some lamb cooked. A few times, I’ve been in Hoover and decided to head to Costa’s only to find out that they’ve run out of lamb or won’t be cooking any until the next meal time. Other than that, the service has been great, and the food has been spectacular.

Hi Noel,
Maybe a little off topic, however, I am thawing them now and need a good recipe for chicken leg quarters (leg and thigh for those who don’t know). I have a slow cooker and a crock pot so I can use either one. I want something tasty (similar to baked chicken). I want to put it on before I leave in the morning and let it cook for 8 to 10 hours or so. Tomorrow is a busy day for me.
Nothing with cream of mushroom soup on it or anything, please.
Keep up the posts!
