About Noel

I'm a lifelong learner, and I love to help people learn. My most-favorite hobbies are cooking, exercising, and woodworking, and I'll enthusiastically discuss these activities with everyone. My least-favorite hobbies are housework and yard work, and I'll unenthusiastically discuss those activities with no one. :) A little-known fact about me is that I enjoy Mondays...especially when I get two or more each week. A lot of people tell me that I have a dry sense of humor, and they can't tell whether I'm kidding or not.

    • Fresh 4 U : 'Finally got Mediterranean'
by NoelOn Wednesday nights, I try to eat at an un-chain restaurant. Last night, I decided on Fresh 4 U because (a) I wanted something Mediterranean, and (b) I wanted something Mediterranean. I got the lamb gyro with a side of hummus, and I was not disappointed. The lamb was thickly sliced right off the spit, and the hummus was fabulous. Although I'm a l […]
    • The Varsity : 'What'll ya have!!!'
by NoelI had the #1 combo: two chili dogs, onion rings, and a drink. I also got an apple pie. The dogs were good - I added some chopped white onion to them to make sure no one invaded my personal space. The rings were salty, but I liked the batter they used. The apple pie was the best part of my meal. Meal price = $10.15. Will eat there again. The Varsity 61 […]

No tip for them and a slice of vanilla bean cheesecake for me. Hope the food is worth the 45 minutes and $32. The Cheesecake Factory 236 Summit Blvd, Birmingham (205) 262-1800 […]
